Federal Aviation Administration Internship (Paid, Full Time 15 weeks)

Funded by the FAA and administered by The Washington Center, this is a unique opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students like you, to get hands-on experience with the Federal Government while learning more about the aspects of nation’s greatest aerospace system in the world. Students attending a Minority Serving Institution are strongly encouraged to apply.

This internship is paid:
Undergraduate stipend: $9,705 with an additional $600 local transportation paid twice a month throughout the 15 week period.
Graduate: $12,051 with an additional $500 local transportation paid twice a month throughout the 15 week period.
FAA DOES NOT OFFER HOUSING. IF YOU ARE APPLYING OUT OF THE AREA YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN HOUSING. ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule (~40 hours a week) for the duration of the program
- Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited U.S. college or university and will not graduate before the end of the internship. Candidates with at least a 3.0 GPA will have a more competitive chance of being interviewed/selected.
- Must have a confirmed interest in the FAA and the scope of work presented in the job description
