Account Management Intern

Avenir Bold is seeking a highly motivated advertising intern to work with the account management team for a paid, part-time summer internship.

This role will support colleagues in the agency on a variety of account services, creative and media projects. The intern must be able to work effectively within different departments, with a “can-do” attitude in completing an assortment of tasks, while learning new skills.

Strong time management and organizational skills are required in order to multitask in a work environment where priorities can change quickly.

Responsibilities:

·      Support account management and/or new business efforts

·      Conduct industry research

·      Write and proof content for various marketing collateral including, but not limited to, press releases, advertisements and content

·      Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and attend certain client meetings

·      Assist in the management of company social media accounts

Qualifications:

·      Enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate degree program or greater in journalism, public relations, marketing, strategic communications or related field

·      Superior written and oral communications skills, strong organizational skills

·      Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint

·      Enthusiastic with a positive attitude

This will be a part-time, paid internship.
